Construction of CRMC’s $17 million, state-of-the-art outpatient clinic and interior remodeling to help meet the needs of its expanding orthopaedics and pain management services is well underway.  To make room for the new clinic expected to open in Fall 2020, underutilized areas of the Care Center are being consolidated and the Cancer Care Center and Rehabilitation departments are being relocated for patient convenience. Kraus-Anderson Construction of Minneapolis is the construction manager and 23 trade contractors are working on the project. The main entrance’s canopy was removed in January and that section should be completed this summer along with the Care Center’s improvements. Rehabilitation’s move to the former Care Center space should take place next winter and the Cancer Center, now in a temporary location, should be in its new clinic space in summer 2020.
