
Darla Morris-Preble of Blaine is joining Cuyuna Regional Medical Center as the Multi-Specialty Clinic Director beginning August 1. She will direct all activities that contribute to the operational, clinic and business functions of the Minnesota Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery, Minnesota Reflux & Heartburn Center and Minnesota Center for Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Morris-Preble comes to CRMC with a wide range of surgical clinic experience. She was the Chief Operating Officer at the Center for Reproductive Medicine/Advanced Reproductive Technologies in Minneapolis for two years and as Chief Administrative Officer at Specialists in General Surgery, Ltd., in Maple Grove for 20 years. Morris-Preble also held positions with Allina Health in Minneapolis as a surgical nurse clinician, Transitional Care Unit department lead, Intensive Care Unit staff nurse and Surgical Unit assistant head nurse. She has had the opportunity to be involved in physician and staff management, implementation and optimization of an electronic medical records system and program development.
The director holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Medical Group Management from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Arts in nursing from Bethel College, both in St. Paul. She is a member of Medical Group Management Association, served on the Board four years and as 2015-16 President. She continues to serve on its Government Affairs and Payer Relations committees and as its Quality Liaison. She is a member of the Minnesota Credentialing Collaboration Board and participated as a steering committee member and OB/GYN sub-committee chair of Baskets of Care. She is also an active member within the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST.
