
Dr. Mustaf Shariff, an Internal Medicine physician from Lawrenceville, Ga., has joined the medical staff of Cuyuna Regional Hospital in Crosby as a Hospitalist. He will focus on the general medical care of hospitalized patients.
The physician recently completed a Residency in Internal Medicine at Northside Gwinnett Hospital. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at American University of Antigua in St. Johns, a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Biology Magna Cum Laude at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine; and a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors from Husson College in Bangor, Maine. Dr. Shariff also completed a Summer Medical Dental Enhancement Program at Yale School of Medicine.
Dr. Shariff previously served as a COVID-19 task force/educational consultant, youth college/career development coach; creator and organizer of an annual health fair and education of immigrant community; academic tutor; global health track participant; and research coordinator.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Shariff enjoys community outreach, global health, hiking, playing basketball and watching any sports.
