Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Registered Nurse Nick Hillman of Brainerd on March 15 received the organization’s Trophy Fish Award for going above and beyond in his job duties.
During the recent record-breaking, frigid cold temperatures, multiple CRMC patients and visitors were unable to start their vehicles that had been parked for some time. Hillman assisted with jump starting vehicles so they could get home safely out of the cold. “He is truly an example of what CRMC staff are about,” his nominator wrote.
Hillman has been a member of CRMC’s staff since 2011. A graduate of Central Lakes College, he also worked as a care provider at Advantages PCA and Excelsior Place in Brainerd.
