
Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Board Certified Emergency Physician Christopher Kaczmarczyk, D.O., and Critical Care Director Stephanie Nelson, R.N., will be the guests on KKIN Radio’s Community Connection program Thursday, Dec. 10, from 8 to 8:30 a.m. Tune in at 94.3 on the FM dial to hear about how it is still safe to seek emergency care during COVID.
Dr. Kaczmarczyk has been a member of CRMC’s Emergency Department staff since July 2018. He came to CRMC from Hennepin County Medical Center where he completed a fellowship in emergency medicine ultrasound. A graduate of Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology and Bioethics, Dr. Kaczmarczyk earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania. He also studied abroad at University College Cork in Ireland.
Nelson has been Nursing Director of CRMC’s Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit since October 2019. She also has experience as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse, held a Director of Clinical Services position for a large assisted living facility in Rochester, Minn., and a Director or Nursing position for a skilled nursing facility in Zumbrota, Minn. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a Master’s degree in Health Care Education from Regis University in Denver, Colo.
