Emergency Medicine boarded and trained physician Paul Mittelstadt, M.D., of Minneapolis recently joined the staff of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Department in Crosby.
The physician comes to CRMC from St. Croix Medical Regional Medical Center in Wisconsin where he practiced since 1997. He also practiced emergency medicine at Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center, Sharp Coronado Hospital in California, Midway Hospital in St. Paul, Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, District One Hospital in Faribault, Unity Medical Center in Fridley, Waconia Ridgeview Hospital, Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville and St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth.
Dr. Mittelstadt earned his Medical Degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed a family practice residency at St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital in Mason City, Iowa, where he also served as chief resident. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in math, chemistry and science education at Minnesota State University-Mankato. He is a member of the American College of Emergency Medicine and is an American Board of Emergency Medicine fellow.
