With the recent increase in COVID cases in the community, Cuyuna Regional Medical Center updated its visitor guidelines to help protect patients, residents and staff.
In the hospital, only two visitors will be allowed per patient, except for in the oncology and emergency departments. In those departments, only one visitor will be allowed at a time. The only exception will be for pediatric patients who may have both parents or guardians present.
Visitors must always wear a face mask and follow social distancing guidelines. Visitors must use hand sanitizer when entering the facility and entering or exiting the patient room. The visitor must remain in the patient room and only leave to use the restroom or exit the hospital. Those not following these guidelines will be asked to leave and will be offered an alternate method of communication with their loved one.
