Cuyuna Regional Medical Center is recognized as a top performer by MN Community Measurement, an independent nonprofit organization which collects and analyzes data on health care quality and cost, in their recently released spotlight report – Depression Care in Minnesota: Adults & Adolescents.
CRMC is in the top five medical groups in the state for the Adolescent Depression Remission at 12 months measure, with a score more than double the state average. The year 2019 is the first that depression care was tracked for adolescents with more than just a mental health screening measure.
“This is a huge accomplishment. We focused a lot of attention on depression care in 2019 and are proud to see how the results of that work have positively impacted our patients,” stated Quality Director Cathline Helstrom, R.N.
MN Community Measurement is a collaborative effort that includes medical groups, clinics, physicians, hospitals, health plans, employers, consumer representatives and quality improvement organizations. These stakeholders support the idea that greater transparency (sharing of information) in our health care system will lead to better health outcomes for the people of Minnesota. CRMC submits data to this site as part of the Minnesota Statewide Quality Reporting and Measurement System.
