
Family Nurse Practitioner Tara Charboneau has been named Clinical Director of Oncology at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center. She replaces Director of Nursing Gordon McArthur who had served in the position the past six years while also managing the hospital’s nursing units.
Charboneau joined the medical staff of CRMC’s Cancer Care Center in August 2021. She has over 15 years’ experience as a registered nurse, mostly in outpatient oncology. The director previously worked as a registered nurse at Lake Region Health Center Cancer Care and Research Center; manager of medical oncology at Baptist MD Anderson; manager of nurse navigation, intake, and scheduling and as lead care manager at Cancer Care Centers or America. Charboneau was also a clinical instructor at the University of Jamestown and an infusion nurse at Coram Home Infusion and Meritcare Roger Maris Pediatric Oncology.
She earned her Doctorate of Nurse Practice at the University of Mary-Bismarck, Master of Science degree in Nursing at Western Governors University and Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at Minot State University.
