The Iron Range Eatery and Cuyuna Brewing in Crosby are hosting Happy Hour for a Cause on Thursday, March 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the brewery to benefit Because of Brandon, the annual benefit for Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Diabetes Education Department.
Cost to attend is $15 per person which will include four samples of local brews and freshly prepared appetizers from the chefs at Iron Range Eatery. One hundred percent of the admittance will be used to fund youth diabetes camps, patient travel expenses, and educational events. Those attending the event are asked to R.S.V.P. to peggy.stebbins@cuyunamed.org or call 218-545-4447.
Every fourth Thursday, except December, The Iron Range Eatery will join forces with Cuyuna Brewery to offer a non-profit an opportunity to raise funds for their organization. Cuyuna Brewery is donating the beer tasting and space; Iron Range is providing a selection of appetizers and servers. Iron Range, part of 3 Cheers Hospitality, has helped raised thousands of non-profit dollars through Happy Hours for a Cause at Prairie Bay Grill in Brainerd over the last 13 years. This is their first event in Crosby.
Mark your calendar for this year’s Because of Brandon event which will be held on Saturday, July 28, at the Crosby Bar & Grill. The benefit will include a beer and wine tasting, silent auction, raffle, and street dance.
Event updates will be available at www.cuyunamed.org.
