About This Provider:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Matthew Houge of Maple Grove joined the Surgery Team at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby in December 2022. Houge previously worked as a Registered Nurse at CentraCare Health System in St. Cloud, CRMC, Altru Health Services in Grand Forks, and Cass Lake Indian Hospital in Cass Lake. He also has experience as a Flight Nurse for Sanford AirMed in Bemidji and Valley Med Flight in Grand Forks and as a Firefighter/EMT for the Bemidji Fire Department. The CRNA earned a Master of Science degree in Nurse Anesthesia from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Bemidji State University where he graduated Cum Laude and an Associate degree in Nursing from Northwest Technical College. Outside of his work, Houge enjoys hiking, hunting, and spending time on the lake with his wife Cayla.
