About This Provider:

Certified Athletic Trainer, Karie Montgomery of Brainerd, MN, who is also a Licensed Occupational Therapist, joined the staff of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center’s Rehabilitation Department in January 2021. Montgomery came to CRMC from Fairview Institute for Athletic Medicine in the Twin Cities where she worked as an athletic trainer for the past five years. She also has three years of previous experience as a Rehabilitation Technician at the University of Minnesota. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training at Bethel University in St. Paul. She also holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Minnesota which also assists with her role as an Athletic Trainer.
