Ashley Yager, CNP, of Brainerd joined the Cancer Care Center medical staff as Nurse Practitioner in September 2023. She provides care and consulting services for those with hematologic disease and who have been diagnosed with cancer as well as provide education to patients and their families.Yager previously worked as a Family & Adult-Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in Hospital Medicine and Pulmonology. She earned her advance practice degree at the University of South Alabama in Mobile and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth and an Associate of Science degree from Central Lakes College in Brainerd. A member of CRMC’s staff the past 13 years, Yager also worked as a Registered Nurse on the Critical Care Resource Team, the Intensive Care Unit, Oncology, and Medical/Surgical units. She is a recipient of CRMC’s Clinical Expert Award.
