Because of Brandon

Friday, April 21, 2023, 4 - 7 p.m., The Hudson, Ironton

A fundraiser for Type 1 Diabetes patients in memory of Brandon Houge of Ironton, Minn., who unexpectedly passed away from complications of diabetes in December 2015. All proceeds benefit Brandon’s Wallet which helps area diabetes patients with non-medical needs such as gas cards for pediatric travel to Children's Hospital in the Twin Cities to meet with a pediatric endocrinologist, camp scholarships to Camp Needlepoint for youth ages 8 to 17, and financial assistance to diabetes patients who may need assistance with their insulin and glucose testing supplies due to social determinants. CRMC Championship presented by Gertens

August 28 – September 3, 2023, Cragun’s Legacy Courses

The CRMC Championship is the only PGA TOUR Canada event in the U.S. This event attracts 156 players from around the world, runs with the support of 250 community volunteers, and has an impact that travels far beyond the ball. Funds raised benefit the CRMC Foundation to support the most critical needs for health care in our community. Join us for the exclusive Cruising for Charity aboard Cragun’s North Star luxury yacht on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023, and sail away on Gull Lake while raising funds for healthcare. Driving for Hospice

Friday, June 16, 2023, Cuyuna Rolling Hills Golf Course, Deerwood

Driving for Hospice is a charity golf tournament benefitting area hospice patients. Funds provide end-of-life care to hospice patients and fund supplies, medications, and home equipment. The 18-hole, best ball scramble with teams of four players begins with a shotgun start at noon. Players compete for cash and other great prizes. A hole-in-one contest is planned together with other fun activities. The fee is $150 per golfer which includes green fees, a cart, a healthy lunch, and appetizers. Tree of Love

December 2023 

Tree of Love is a special fundraiser memorializing and honoring loved ones that benefits CRMC Hospice. Memorials and gifts make compassionate, end-of-life care available to people in the area who have a terminal illness, regardless of their ability to pay. The 38th annual Tree of Love lighting and dedication took place on Saturday, Dec. 3 at Crosby’s Memorial Park and a memorial service was held on Tuesday, Dec. 6. The names of those being remembered or honored can be viewed here.
