Prepared Birth Education
The prepared birth education series is a comprehensive, interactive, and sociable progression of classes designed for mothers and their labor support person. It is an opportunity to get to know other expectant parents as well as an opportunity to practice and master your birthing skills.
All classes are held in the in the Earl W. Bedard Boardroom at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in the lower level. Pre-registration is required prior to the first class of each session. Please call 218-546-4350 to register.
Regular session classes are held on Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Session 1: February 2, 9, 16, 23

Weekend Intensive Sessions: These sessions will be offered twice a year on a Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The educator will discuss all topics covered in the traditional class and an optional tour of the birthing center will offered. Lunch is provided and breaks are scheduled throughout the day.
