John Solheim joins Cuyuna Regional Medical Center as CEO

Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC) recently welcomed John Solheim as Chief Executive Officer. John has 28 years of extensive experience as a CEO serving four different healthcare facilities in Montana and also eight years in Detroit Lakes,

Minnesota as the CEO of St. Mary’s Regional Health Center. “We believe John’s experience in both an integrated health delivery system and community hospital settings paired with his experience and passion for serving the community are important attributes in leading CRMC into the future,” said Board Chair Roger Twigg. “He will be a great addition to our team at CRMC and to our community.”

John grew up in Barnum, Minnesota. After graduating from high school, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree Cum Laude from Concordia College in Moorhead where he studied Organizational Communications and Business/Hospital Administration. He then earned a Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota. John and his wife, Maria, have two children; a daughter, Ali, and a son, Nick.
