Star Tribune names Cuyuna Regional Medical Center to Star Tribune’s Top Workplaces 2012

Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC) has been named one of the Top Workplaces in Minnesota based on an employee-based survey project from the Star Tribune. Top Workplaces recognizes 160 of the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on national standards of employee opinions about company leadership, communication, career opportunities, workplace environment, managerial skills, pay and benefits. The analysis included responses from nearly 71,200 employees of Minnesota public, private and nonprofit organizations.

The results of the Star Tribune Top Workplaces are based on survey information collected by WorkplaceDynamics, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention.

At CRMC, over 900 physicians, nurses, health care professionals and support staff work together to create a positive, proactive, and patient family-centered medical campus. “This recognition is an honor. CRMC aspires to be an organization that attracts people with a desire to serve others and always give their best to provide world class care and service,” said Tom Reek, CEO of CRMC. “When we receive thank-you cards from patients, it is always about our staff - the care and compassion they show to the people we serve. To qualify for the Star Tribune Top Workplaces, a company must have more than 50 employees in Minnesota. Over 1,360 companies were invited to participate.
