Podiatry Seminars on January 11 in Longville and January 18 in Crosby

Cuyuna Regional Medical Center-Longville and Heartwood Senior Living Community will host a free seminar followed by a coffee and pie social on January 11, 2:00 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Longville. Community members are invited to attend and hear presentations by Dr. Bradley McCusker, podiatrist and Mike Reem, Heartwood Housing Counselor.

Heartwood is a unique senior living community located on the medical campus in Crosby that is a partnership of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center and Presbyterian Homes & Services. Mike Reem will share detailed information about the wealth of amenities, living options, services and programs offered at Heartwood. Opened in 2008, the community has an elegant, northwoods theme with senior apartments, assisted living and memory care.

Board-certified in foot surgery, Dr. McCusker has 19 years of experience in treating patients with a variety of foot problems. In early September he started providing podiatry services with Cuyuna Regional Medical Center and Riverwood Healthcare Center. His specialty areas include evaluation and treatment of ingrown toenails, plantar warts, heel spurs, bunions, hammertoes, neuromas and diabetic foot ulcers. Dr. McCusker’s presentation will explain signs, symptoms and treatment options for a variety of foot problems.

Opportunities for guests to ask questions will be followed by the presentations. Dr. McCusker and Mike Reem will also be available for conversation during the pie social following the presentations on January 11.

On January 18, 2:00 p.m. at the Hallett Center of Crosby Dr. Bradley McCusker will make the same presentation. Opportunities for guests to ask questions will be followed by his presentation and light refreshments will be provided.
